All-Season or Winter Tires, the Definitive Answer!

If you’re having a difficult time determining whether or not you’re looking for a winter tire or an all season tire, look no further. All you have to do is consider the temperature of the place you live and the places you will be travelling to. The rubber compound of an all season tire is much harder than that of a winter tire and is built to perform in temperatures ABOVE Seven Degrees Celsius; conversely, a winter tire’s rubber compound is soft and is built to perform in temperatures Seven Degrees Celsius and BELOW.  So, if you live in or regularly travel to a place with temperatures dropping below Seven Degrees Celsius, you want to be putting winter tires on your vehicle. A “thank you” from one of our clients

While we always pride ourselves on providing the best service imaginable, it is always great to see first-hand when our service impresses a new client. This afternoon we received a lovely Thank You card from a recent client. It read: Dear Sir/Madam You should know about one of your young men who kindly took a few minutes of his day to help me with what I considered an emergency on May 22 afternoon. I was on the west mountain (my home is in east Hamilton) and stopped to gas up. When I unscrewed the gas cap, the wider side separated into 2 plastic parts and a metal spring. I quickly filled up and fit the plastic pieces back together and noticed then that I had a third part (the spring). I didn’t know how it fit into the puzzle. I felt uneasy driving after that and remembered “Beech” on Upper James because my aunt used to take her car there for servicing and spoke well of your establishment.
